Welcome to the archive website for Digital 2010.
Digital 2010 was the original Digital and ICT Skills Action Plan for the Yorkshire and Humber region, which was developed in 2005 and launched in 2006 to provide a dynamic framework for the successful and vigorous development of digital and ICT skills across the region.
Digital 2010 became an established platform for the advancement of digital and ICT skills in Yorkshire and the Humber. It helped to foster debate and raise awareness about the increasing importance of digital skills for the current and future workforce, as well as for citizens in their everyday lives – embracing both user and professional skills.
Digital 2010 has now been expanded and re-branded as Digital 20/20. Digital 20/20 comprises two complimentary strands, one focused on the broad-based Action Plan for digital and ICT skills in the region, and the other on exploiting the benefits of ICT adoption in the region’s key employment sectors – bringing together representatives from business support, industry and the learning and skills agencies.
